The Mercedes-Benz Museum is an automobile museum in Stuttgart, Germany. It covers the history of the Mercedes-Benz brand and the brands associated with it. Stuttgart is home to the Mercedes-Benz brand and the international headquarters of the Mercedes-Benz Group.

Daimler Truck AG (holding company legal name Daimler Truck Holding AG) is the world's largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, with over 35 main locations worldwide and approximately 100,000 employees. Daimler Truck AG is headquartered in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany. It was a part of Daimler AG from November 2019 to December 2021.

Maybach (German: [ˈmaɪbax] , MY-baakh) is a German luxury car brand partially owned by Mercedes-Benz. The original company was founded in 1909 by Wilhelm Maybach and his son Karl Maybach, originally as a subsidiary of Luftschiffbau Zeppelin GmbH, and it was known as Luftfahrzeug-Motorenbau GmbH until 1999.

In 1960, Maybach was acquired by Daimler-Benz. The name returned as a standalone ultra-luxury car brand in 2002, sharing significant components with Mercedes-Benz cars. In 2013, after slow sales, Maybach ceased to be a standalone brand. In 2015, it became a sub-brand of Mercedes-Benz, which the Mercedes-Benz Group owns. As of 2021, Daimler produces an ultra-luxury edition of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, the Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV, the Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class, and the Mercedes-Benz SL under the Mercedes-Maybach name.

DASA (officially Deutsche AeroSpace AG, later Daimler-Benz AeroSpace AG, then DaimlerChrysler AeroSpace AG) was a German aerospace manufacturer. Founded in May 1989 as the aerospace subsidiary of Daimler-Benz (later DaimlerChrysler, and now the Mercedes-Benz Group), the company combined Daimler-Benz's aerospace division and its other aviation subsidiaries—including MTU München and Dornier Flugzeugwerke, which had previously operated independently—with rival manufacturer Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm (MBB), acquired by Daimler that year.

DASA’s existence was relatively brief, as the post–Cold War "peace dividend" of the 1990s encouraged consolidation across the aerospace industry. In July 2000, DASA merged with France's Aérospatiale-Matra and Spain's CASA to form EADS, which later rebranded as Airbus. After the formation of EADS, Daimler retained ownership of MTU, which was subsequently spun off in 2003 as MTU Aero Engines, an independent company that continues to operate.
