A street is a public thoroughfare in a city, town or village, typically lined with buildings on one or both sides. A street can be as simple as a level patch of dirt, but is more often paved with a hard, durable surface such as tarmac, concrete, cobblestone or brick. It can be designed for both social activity and movement.

The Otoyol 7 (O-7; English: Motorway 7), or Northern Marmara Motorway (Turkish: Kuzey Marmara Otoyolu), is a toll motorway in Turkey that bypasses Istanbul to the north. The motorway is 248 km in length between the Kınalı junction and the Akyazı junction, and is 8 lanes wide (4+4 lanes).Within the scope of the Build-Operate-Transfer Model Construction, Operation and Transfer of Kınalı-Odayeri (Including Connection Roads) Section (North Marmara Europan Motorway) and Kurtköy-Akyazı (Including Connection Roads) Section (North Marmara Anatolian Motorway) of the Northern Marmara Motorway (Including the 3rd Bosphorus Bridge) Project, it is composed of two separate authorized companies, namely "AVRUPA OTOYOLU YATIRIM VE İŞLETME AŞ". on the European side and "KMO ANADOLU OTOYOLU İŞLETME AŞ". on the Asian side.

The completed section of highway crosses the Bosphorus Strait via the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, which was opened in August 2016. The route is intended to serve as the outermost beltway of Istanbul as well as being the third road crossing of the Bosphorus. The route stretches 250 km (160 mi) from Silivri, on the European side, to Akyazı on the Asian side. Connections to the O-4 as well as both the Bosphorus and Fatih Sultan Mehmet bridges will be built as the Northern Marmara Motorway and will bypass Istanbul to the north.

Vianen (Dutch pronunciation: [viˈjaːnə(n)] ) is a city and a former municipality in the central Netherlands, in the province of Utrecht. It is located south of the Lek river. Before 2002 it was part of the province of South Holland. The name of the new municipality is Vijfheerenlanden which is part of the Utrecht province.

Salt (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈsal]) is a municipality in the comarca of the Gironès in Catalonia. It is situated on the right bank of the Ter next to Girona, with which it was merged from 1974 to 1984. The A-7 autopista and N-141 road pass through the municipality.

From 1895, Salt was the temporary Girona terminus of the narrow gauge Olot–Girona railway, until the short section to Girona railway station was opened in 1898. Initially the line ran only as far as Amer, but it was extended to Les Planes d'Hostoles in 1900, Sant Feliu de Pallerols in 1902 and Olot in 1911. A dual carriageway (BrE) or a divided highway (AmE) is a class of highway with carriageways for traffic travelling in opposite directions separated by a central reservation (BrE) or median (AmE). Roads with two or more carriageways which are designed to higher standards with controlled access are generally classed as motorways, freeways, etc., rather than dual carriageways.

The Autostrada A14 or Autostrada Adriatica ("Adriatic motorway") is the second-longest (743.4 kilometres (461.9 mi)) autostrada (Italian for "motorway") in Italy located in the regions of Emilia-Romagna, Marche, Abruzzo, Molise and Apulia. It is a part of the E45, E55 and E843 European routes.

Its northern end is Bologna (where it branches off the Autostrada A1) and its southern ending is at Taranto. The motorway stretches along the entire Adriatic coast. The Autoroute A40 is a motorway in France that extends from Mâcon on the west to Passy on the east, terminating not far from Chamonix and the Mont Blanc Tunnel. The road runs 208 kilometres (129 mi) through Bresse, the high southern Jura Mountains, northern Prealps and French Alps. It was fully completed in 1990, and includes 12 viaducts and 3 tunnels. The Autostrada A5 or Autostrada della Valle d'Aosta ("Aosta Valley motorway"), in French Autoroute de la Vallée d'Aoste, is an autostrada (Italian for "motorway") in Italy located in the regions of Piedmont and Aosta Valley, which connects Turin to France via Ivrea and Aosta, through the Mont Blanc Tunnel. It is a part of the E25, E64 and E612 European routes.
