Aside from being one of the pioneer hosts of Eat Bulaga!, de Leon is also the creator of the said noontime variety show as recognized by the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL), and the co-founder of the show's production company, TVJ Productions.

Eat Bulaga! (transl. eat surprise!; stylized as Eat... Bulaga!) is a Philippine television variety show broadcast by Radio Philippines Network, ABS-CBN, GMA Network and TV5. Originally hosted by Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, Chiqui Hollmann and Richie D'Horsie, it premiered on Radio Philippines Network on July 30, 1979, on the network's afternoon line up. The show moved to ABS-CBN on February 18, 1989, and later on GMA Network on January 28, 1995. By 2024, TV5 airs the show. It is the longest-running variety show in the Philippines. The show is currently produced by TVJ Productions, Inc. and hosted by Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, Jose Manalo, Allan K., Wally Bayola, Paolo Ballesteros, Pauleen Luna, Ryan Agoncillo, Ryzza Mae Dizon, Maine Mendoza, Miles Ocampo, Carren Eistrup, Atasha Muhlach, R'Bonney Gabriel, Ian Red and Julia Barretto.

Marvic Valentin "Vic" Castelo Sotto (born April 28, 1954), popularly known as Bossing, is a Filipino actor, comedian, and television personality. Prolific in film and television in the Philippines since the 1970s, he is known for playing comedic roles in television sitcoms and films. He is also one of the three pioneer hosts of Eat Bulaga! together with his elder brother Tito Sotto and Joey De Leon.

Sotto began his career in the 1970s as a member of the disco band VST & Company, where he helped the group popularize the hit songs "Ikaw ang Aking Mahal", "Awitin Mo at Isasayaw Ko", "Magsayawan", and "Rock Baby Rock". He later formed a trio with his brother Tito and Joey de Leon, dubbed as "TVJ"; the three would star together in the long-running sitcom Iskul Bukol (1978–1988). Since 1979, Sotto has hosted the noontime variety show Eat Bulaga! He became one of the founders of TVJ Productions, with Eat Bulaga! being carried over with it after leaving the original production company, TAPE Inc..

TVJ Productions, Inc. is a Philippine media production company co-owned by Eat Bulaga! hosts Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon (collectively known as "TVJ") and media company MediaQuest Holdings. The company was formed on June 7, 2023, after TVJ severed its ties with Television and Production Exponents, Inc. (TAPE), the former producer of Eat Bulaga! due to conflicts between TVJ and the new management.
