In Greek mythology, Phoebe (/ˈfiːbi/ FEE-bee; Ancient Greek: Φοίβη, romanized: Phoíbē, lit. 'bright, shining') is the name or epithet of the following characters:

• Phoebe, one of the twelve Titans, sister-wife of Coeus and mother of Leto and Asteria.

Argyphia, Tyria, the naiad Caliadne, Gorgo and Hephaestine are also given as mothers of the sons of Aegyptos. According to Apollodorus twelve of whom were born to the naiad Polyxo; six to Pieria; two to Elephantis; four to Queen Europa; ten to the hamadryad nymphs Atlanteia and Phoebe; seven to an Aethiopian woman; three to Memphis; two to Herse and lastly four to Crino.

• Periphas, a legendary king of Attica who Zeus turned into an eagle, husband of Phene.
• Periphas, an Egyptian prince as one of the sons of King Aegyptus. His mother was Gorgo and thus full brother of Oeneus, Aegyptus, Menalces, Lampus and Idmon. In some accounts, he could be a son of Aegyptus either by Eurryroe, daughter of the river-god Nilus, or Isaia, daughter of King Agenor of Tyre. Periphas suffered the same fate as his other brothers, save Lynceus, when they were slain on their wedding night by their wives who obeyed the command of their father King Danaus of Libya. He married the Danaid Actaea, daughter of Danaus and Pieria.
• Periphas, one of the five sons of Aretus who fought against Dionysus in the Indian War.

Hippothous was the son of Aegyptus by an Arabian woman and thus full brother of Istrus, Chalcodon, Agenor, Chaetus, Diocorystes, Alces, Alcmenor, Euchenor and Hippolytus. In some accounts, he could be a son of Aegyptus either by Eurryroe, daughter of the river-god Nilus, or Isaie, daughter of King Agenor of Tyre. Hippothous married the Danaid Gorge, daughter of Danaus either by the hamadryads Atlanteia or Phoebe.

• Phereus, a Theban prince as one of the Niobids, children of King Amphion and Niobe, daughter of King Tantalus of Lydia. He was the brother of Alalcomeneus, Eudorus, Argeius, Lysippus, Xanthus, Pelopia, Chione, Clytia, Hore, Lamippe and Melia.
• Phereus, also called Pheres and Thyreus, a Calydonian prince as the son of King Oeneus and Althaea, daughter of King Thestius of Pleuron. He was the brother of Deianeira, Meleager, Toxeus, Clymenus, Periphas, Agelaus and Gorge. When the war between the Curetes and the Calydonians broke out, Phereus along with his brothers, including Meleager, all fell during the battle.

• Toxius, son of Caelus (Uranus) who was the inventor of building with clay, it having been suggested to him from swallows' nests.
• Toxeus, a Pleuronian prince as the son of King Thestius and thus, brother of Althaea. He participated in the hunt for the Calydonian Boar but was angry that the prize of the boar's hide had been given to a woman (Atalanta) by his nephew Meleager, who then killed him in the ensuing argument.
• Toxeus, a Calydonian prince as the son of King Oeneus and Althaea (which makes him a nephew of the above Toxeus). He was the brother of Meleager, Clymenus, Periphas, Agelaus (or Ageleus), Thyreus (or Phereus or Pheres), Deianeira, Gorge, Eurymede and Melanippe. Toxeus was killed by his father for leaping over the trench which had been dug around Calydon. (This is paralleled by Remus overleaping that of Rōmulus. Cf. also the story of Poemander).

• Clymenus, a son of Phoroneus by either Cerdo or Teledice or Cinna. He and his sister Chthonia founded a sanctuary of Demeter.
• Clymenus was the son of Helios and king of Boeotia. In a variant genealogy, he is the father of the children of the Oceanid Merope (usually said to be the offspring of Helios and Clymene). These include Phaëton and the Heliades: Merope, Helie, Aegle, Lampetia, Phoebe, Aetherie, and Dioxippe. Sometimes Phaethousa is included in this number. The names "Clymenus" and "Merope" in Hyginus' version, which is not followed otherwise, may have resulted from incidental gender swap of the names of the Oceanid Clymene and her mortal husband Merops.
• Clymenus, who killed Hodites during the fight between Phineus and Perseus.
• Clymenus, son of Cardys and a descendant of Heracles of Ida. He became king of Olympia but was deposed by Endymion. He was credited with founding the temple of Athena Cydonia in Phrixa, Elis.
• Clymenus, a Calydonian prince as the son of King Oeneus and Althaea, daughter of King Thestius of Pleuron. By Boudeia or Bouzyge, daughter of Lycus, Clymenus was father of five sons: Erginus, Stratius, Arrhon, Pyleus, Azeus, and two daughters: Eurydice and Axia. At a festival of Poseidon at Onchestus, Clymenus quarreled with a group of Thebans over a minor cause and was mortally wounded as a result of a stone thrown at him by Perieres, the charioteer of Menoeceus. Being brought home half dead, Clymenus told Erginus, his successor-to-be, to avenge his death, and died; Erginus then led a war against Thebes.
• Clymenus, king of Arcadia, was the son of either Schoeneus or Teleus of Argos. By Epicasta, he fathered Idas, Therager and Harpalyce. He committed incest with his daughter which prompted him to commit suicide afterwards. Clymenus was also said to have eaten in a banquet the flesh of his sons by his own daughter Harpalyce, and killed her once he found out.

• Thoas, a king of Lemnos saved by his daughter Hypsipyle from the massacre by the Lemnian women. He was a son of Dionysus and Ariadne, and sometimes identified with Thoas, the king of the Taurians, below.
• Thoas, a king of the Taurians when Iphigenia became priestess of Artemis. He is sometimes identified with Thoas, the king of Lemnos above.
• Thoas, a king of Aetolia. He was the son of Andraemon and Gorge, and a Greek leader and hero in the Trojan War.
• Thoas, a king of Corinth. He was a son of Ornytion and a grandson of Sisyphus.
• Thoas, a son of Jason and Hypsipyle, and a grandson of Thoas, the king of Lemnos (above). He was the twin brother of Euneus.
