In Greek mythology, Arne (/ˈɑːrniː/; Ancient Greek: Ἄρνη), also called Melanippe or Antiopa, was the daughter of Aeolus and Melanippe (also Hippe or Euippe), daughter of Chiron.

In Greek mythology, Deioneus (/daɪˈoʊniːəs/; Ancient Greek: Δηιονεύς means "ravager") or Deion (/ˈdaɪ.ɒn/; Ancient Greek: Δηίων) is a name attributed to the following individuals:

• Deioneus, king of Phocis and son of King Aeolus of Aeolia and Enarete, daughter of Deimachus. He was the brother of Salmoneus, Sisyphus, Cretheus, Perieres, Athamas, Magnes, Calyce, Canace, Alcyone, Pisidice and Perimede. By Diomede, Deioneus became the father of Cephalus, Actor, Aenetus, Phylacus, Asterodia and Philonis. After the death of his brother, Salmoneus, Deioneus took his daughter Tyro into his house, and gave her in marriage to Cretheus.
• Deioneus, the Perrhaebian father of Dia and father-in-law-to-be of Ixion, Deioneus was pushed by him into a bed of flaming coals so that Ixion wouldn't have to pay the bride price. Also known as Eioneus.
• Deion, father of Nisus, king of Megara. Otherwise, the latter was called the son of Pandion II or Ares.
• Deioneus, an Oeachalian prince as son of King Eurytus and Antiope or Antioche, and thus brother to Iole, Toxeus, Clytius, Didaeon and Iphitos. He married Perigune, daughter of Sinis, whose father was killed by Theseus.
• Deioneus, one of the sons of Heracles and Megara.

Aloeus (/əˈloʊjuːs/; Ancient Greek: Ἀλωεύς probably derived from ἀλοάω aloaō "to thresh, to tread" as well as "to crush, to smash") can indicate one of the two characters in Greek mythology:

• Aloeus or Haloeus, a Thessalian prince as the son of Poseidon and princess Canace, daughter of King Aeolus and Enarete. He was the brother of Hopleus, Nireus, Epopeus and Triops. His first wife was his niece Iphimedeia, and later Eriboea, daughter of Eurymachus. In some accounts, Aloeus was the father of Salmoneus who founded Elis, the girls Elate and Platanus, the twin giants, Otus and Ephialtes, collectively known as the Aloadae and lastly, the maiden Pancratis. These giants made war on the gods and captured the god Ares in a bag. Aloeus's wife Eriboea reported this to the gods, for which Aloeus had her flayed alive. In Virgil's Aeneid, the sons of Aloeus were found in the underworld and there Aeneas sees them being punished by Rhadamanthus. This scene from Virgil was a precursor to Dante's depiction of Hell. Aloeus was credited to have founded the city of Alus in Aetolia.
• Aloeus, son of Helios and possibly Antiope or Perse, who received from his father the sovereignty over the district of Asopia (Sicyon). He was the father of Epopeus, his successor.

In Greek mythology, Argiope (Ancient Greek: Ἀργιόπη, romanized: Argiópe, 'silver face') may refer to:

• Argiope, naiad daughter of the river god Nile. She was wife of King Agenor of Tyre and mother of Europa, Cadmus, Phoenix and Cilix. More commonly known as Telephassa. Otherwise, the spouse of Agenor was variously given as Antiope, Damno and Tyro.
• Argiope, naiad, possibly the daughter of the river-god Cephissus, mother of Thamyris by Philammon. She lived at first on Mount Parnassus but when Philammon refused to take her into his house as his wife, she left Parnassus and went to the country of the Odrysians in Thrace when pregnant.
• Argiope, naiad of the town of Eleusis, mother of Cercyon by Branchus. Possibly same as the above Argiope thus, a daughter of the river-god Cephissus.
• Argiope, daughter of Teuthras, king of Teuthrania, a region near Mysia in Asia Minor. She married Telephus, son of Heracles.

Clytius (Ancient Greek: Κλυτίος), also spelled Klythios, Klytios, Clytios, and Klytius, is the name of multiple people in Greek mythology:

• Clytius, one of the Giants, sons of Gaia, killed by Hecate during the Gigantomachy, the battle of the Giants versus the Olympian gods.
• Clytius, an alternative name for Clytoneus, the son of Naubolus of Argos and father of Nauplius II.
• Clytius, son of Agriopas and grandson of Cyclops. He fought in the war between Eumolpus and Eleusis and fell alongside Eumolpus' son Immaradus and Egremus, son of Eurynomus.
• Clytius, the Athenian father of Pheno who married King Lamedon of Sicyon. Ianiscus, descendant of this Clytius, became king in Sicyon after Adrastus.
• Clytius, a man killed by Perseus in the battle against Phineus.
• Clytius, a warrior in the army of Dionysus during the god's Indian campaign. He was killed by Corymbasus.
• Clytius, an Argonaut and an Oechalian prince as son of King Eurytus and Antiope or Antioche, and thus brother to Iole, Toxeus, Deioneus, Molion, Didaeon and Iphitos. According to Hyginus, he was killed by Aeetes, if the text is not corrupt; according to Diodorus Siculus, however, he was killed by Heracles during the latter's war against Eurytus.
• Clytius, in a rare version of the myth, a son of Phineus and brother of Polymedes: the two brothers killed Phineus' second, Phrygian, wife (Idaea?) at the instigation of Cleopatra.
• Clytius, a Trojan prince as the son of King Laomedon and brother of the later ruler Priam. He was also one of the Elders of Troy during the siege of the city. By Laothoe, he was the father of Caletor, Procleia and Pronoe or Pronome, of whom the latter was the mother of Polydamas by Panthous.
• Clytius, son of Alcmaeon and Alphesiboea. He moved from Psophis to Elis in order to escape his mother's vengeful brothers. The Clytidae, a clan of soothsayers, claimed descent from him. According to Stephanus of Byzantium, his mother was Triphyle, the eponym of Triphylia.
• Clytius, each of the three namesakes among the Suitors of Penelope: one from Dulichium, another from Same, and the third from Zacynthus. These men asked the hand in marriage of Penelope but suffered the same fate at the hands of the hero Odysseus. The latter shot all of them dead with the aid of Eumaeus, Philoetius, and Telemachus.
• Clytius, an attendant of Telemachus in Homer's Odyssey, the father of Telemachus' friend Peiraeus. Dolops, a Greek warrior killed by Hector in the Iliad, could also have been his son.
• Clytius, one of the sons of Aeolus who followed Aeneas to Italy and was killed by Turnus.
• Clytius, father of Euneus (one of those killed in the battle between Aeneas and Turnus).
• Clytius, a young soldier in the army of Turnus who was loved by Cydon in Virgil's Aeneid, and was killed by Aeneas.
• Clytius, father of Acmon and Menestheus from Lyrnessus, Phrygia.

In Greek mythology, Tyro (Ancient Greek: Τυρώ) may refer to two distinct women:

• Tyro, a Phoenician queen as the wife of King Agenor who named after her the newly built city of Tyre. She became the mother of his sons: Cadmus, Phoenix, Syros, Cilix, and, a daughter, Europa. In other accounts, the spouse of Agenor was variously given as Telephassa, Argiope, Antiope, and Damno.
• Tyro, mother of the twins, Neleus and Pelias, by Poseidon.
• Tyros, a Phoenician nymph and lover of Heracles.

In Greek mythology, Alopius (Ancient Greek: Ἀλόπιος) was the Thespian son of Heracles and Antiope, daughter of King Thespius of Thespiae.
