The province of Belluno (Italian: provincia di Belluno; Austrian German: provinz Belluno; Ladin: provinzia de Belum) is a province in the Veneto region of Italy. Its capital is the city of Belluno.
It has an area of 3,610 square kilometres (1,390 sq mi) and a population of about 198,000 people.
The province of Treviso (Italian: provincia di Treviso) is a province in the Veneto region of Italy. Its capital is the city of Treviso. The province is surrounded by Belluno in the north, Vicenza in the west, Padua in southwest, Venice in the south-east and Friuli-Venezia Giulia in the east. The current President of Treviso province is Stefano Marcon, elected in December 2021 for second term. He is also the current mayor of Castelfranco Veneto.
Alleghe (Ladin: Àlie) is a village and comune in the province of Belluno in the Italian region of Veneto.
To the west Alleghe borders with Lake Alleghe, which was formed in 1771 by a landslide from the adjacent Mont Piz.

Cortina d'Ampezzo (Italian pronunciation: [korˈtiːna damˈpɛttso]; Ladin: Anpezo, Ampëz; historical Austrian German: Hayden) sometimes abbreviated to simply Cortina, is a town and comune in the heart of the southern (Dolomitic) Alps in the province of Belluno, in the Veneto region of Northern Italy. Situated on the Boite river, in an alpine valley, it is an upscale summer and winter sport resort known for its skiing trails, scenery, accommodation, shops and its jet set dominated après-ski scene.
During the Middle Ages, Ampezzo fell under the jurisdiction of the Patriarchate of Aquileia and of the Holy Roman Empire. In 1420 it was conquered by the Republic of Venice. From 1508, it then spent much of its history under Habsburg rule, briefly undergoing some territorial changes under Napoleon, before being returned to the Austrian Empire (later Austria-Hungary), which held it until 1918. From the 19th century, Cortina d'Ampezzo became a notable regional centre for crafts. The local handmade products were appreciated by early British and German holidaymakers as tourism emerged in the late 19th century. Among the specializations of the town were crafting wood for furniture, the production of tiled stoves, and iron, copper and glass items.
Ladin (/ləˈdiːn/ lə-DEEN, UK also /læˈdiːn/ la-DEEN; autonym: ladin; Italian: ladino; German: Ladinisch) is a Romance language of the Rhaeto-Romance subgroup, mainly spoken in the Dolomite Mountains in Northern Italy in the provinces of South Tyrol, Trentino, and Belluno, by the Ladin people. It exhibits similarities to Romansh, which is spoken in Switzerland, as well as to Friulian, which is spoken in northeast Italy.
The precise extent of the Ladin language area is a subject of scholarly debate. A narrower perspective includes only the dialects of the valleys around the Sella group, while wider definitions comprise the dialects of adjacent valleys in the Province of Belluno and even dialects spoken in the northwestern Trentino.
Pieve di Cadore is a comune (municipality) in the province of Belluno in the Italian region of Veneto, about 110 kilometres (68 miles) north of Venice and about 35 km (22 miles) northeast of Belluno. "Pieve" means "Parish church". It is the birthplace of the Italian painter Titian; the house where he was born remains largely intact, and is a small museum.
With its strategic location, the town was a medieval stronghold with fortifications, called the "walled city of the Veneto." The main sight is the Palazzo della Magnifica Comunità ("Palace of the Magnificent Community"), built in 1447 by the eponymous council which then ruled the city. It has a merloned tower which was completed in 1491.
The Boite (Cadorino dialect, Guóite) is a river of the Province of Belluno, Veneto region, northern Italy. Passing through the town of Cortina d'Ampezzo, it joins the Piave at Perarolo di Cadore. The principal valley, that of the Piave, runs parallel to the mountain chain which separates the province of Belluno from the basin of the Adige. The secondary valleys, which complete the river basin, are, in descending order and on the right bank, those of Visdende, Comelico Superiore, Auronzo, Boite and Zoldo, traversed, respectively, by the Silvella, or first branch of the Piave, the Padola, Ansiei, Boite, and Mae, which all flow into the main river in a rectangular direction.

The Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park (Italian: Parco nazionale delle Dolomiti Bellunesi) is a national park in the province of Belluno, Veneto, in the northern Italy.
Established in 1988, the national park is included in the section "Pale di San Martino - San Lucano - Dolomiti Bellunesi - Vette Feltrine" of the Dolomites declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2009.
