Värmdö Municipality (Swedish: Värmdö kommun) is a municipality in Stockholm County in east central Sweden. Its seat is in the town of Gustavsberg, with a population of 9,682 (2005), on the main island at an elevation of 37 metres (121 ft).
The municipality is named after the main island Värmdön, 180 km (69 sq mi) in size.
Gustavsberg is a locality situated on the island of Värmdö in Sweden's Stockholm archipelago. From an administrative perspective, it is in Stockholm County and is the seat of Värmdö Municipality. It has 24,000 inhabitants as of 2023. It is most known for its porcelain factory, Gustavsberg porcelain, and toilet bowls distributed nationwide and internationally.

Ingarö is an island in Värmdö Municipality, Stockholm County. The chief settlement is called Brunn. With an area of 63.26 km, it is the 16th biggest island in Sweden. Petroglyphs indicate that the island has been inhabited since the Nordic Bronze Age. For most of the 20th century the resident population decreased, while at the same time many vacation homes were built. However, in recent years population has grown as new homes are being built and vacation homes are being converted into permanent homes. Improved communications has made it feasible to commute to Stockholm.
In Ingarö cemetery lie the remains of the first Swedish aviator, Carl Cederström, also known as Kalle Flygare. The island has a 36-hole golf course, as well as tennis courts. A nude beach is located at Återvallssjön, the first of its kind in Sweden.
Värmdö is an island in the innermost region of the Stockholm archipelago and covers an area of 181.40 km, making it the largest island in the archipelago. Värmdö is after Gotland and Öland the third largest island on the eastern coast of Sweden.
Värmdö lies in Stockholm County. Most of it forms part of Värmdö Municipality along with other islands, but the western end is part of Nacka Municipality, which lies mostly on the mainland, to which Värmdö is connected by a road bridge.
Slussen is a station on the Stockholm metro and Saltsjöbanan, located at Slussen in the district of Södermalm. The metro station is served by the Red and Green lines, and originally opened in 1933 as an underground tram stop, on 1 October 1950 it became the terminal of the first metro line running south to Hökarängen, it was again rebuilt when the extension of the line north to Hötorget was opened on 24 November 1957. On 5 April 1964, the first stretch of the Red line, between T-Centralen and Fruängen, was opened.
Slussen has also been the terminus for the Saltsjöbanan railway since the 1940s, however this has temporarily been moved to Henriksdal in 2016 due to the reconstruction of Slussen. Traffic will resume when the reconstruction is complete due in 2028. Just outside the northern entrance to the metro station, there is a bus terminal for buses to the Nacka and Värmdö municipalities.
