In Greek mythology, there were two women known as Philonoe /fɪˈloʊnoʊˌiː/ (Ancient Greek: Φιλονόη) or Phylonoe (Φυλονόη):

• Philonoe, a Spartan princess as the daughter of King Tyndareus and Leda, daughter of King Thestius of Pleuron. She was the sister of Castor and Pollux, Helen, Clytemnestra, Timandra and Phoebe. Artemis made her immortal.
• Philonoe, daughter of Iobates and first wife of Bellerophon by whom, she became the mother of Isander (Peisander), Hippolochus and Laodamia (Deidamia or Hippodamia). Philonoe was the sister of Stheneboea who loved Bellerophon more than her current husband, King Proetus of Argos. She was promised to Bellerophon after he vanquished the Chimera, the Amazons, and more tasks. Bellerophon was given half the kingdom as well as Philonoe's hand in marriage. She was also known under several other names: Alkimedousa or Cassandra, Anticleia, or Pasandra.

• Leucon, a son of Themisto by either Athamas or Poseidon. His children were Erythras, Pisidice, Hyperippe and Euippe (mother of Eteocles by Andreus). He was said to have died of a sickness.
• Leucon, one of Actaeon's dogs.
• Leucon, in Plutarch's Life of Aristides, one of the seven heroes to whom the Athenians, according to an oracle, had to sacrifice if they wanted to overcome their foes in the imminent battle. The other six were Androcrates, Peisandrus, Damocrates, Hypsion, Actaeon and Polyeidus.

• Polyctor, an Egyptian prince as one of the sons of King Aegyptus. His mother was the naiad Caliadne and thus full brother of Eurylochus, Phantes, Peristhenes, Hermus, Potamon, Dryas, Lixus, Imbrus, Bromius, Cisseus and Chthonius. In some accounts, he could be a son of Aegyptus either by Eurryroe, daughter of the river-god Nilus, or Isaie, daughter of King Agenor of Tyre. Polyctor suffered the same fate as his other brothers, save Lynceus, when they were slain on their wedding night by their wives who obeyed the command of their father King Danaus of Libya. He married the Danaid Stygne, daughter of Danaus and the naiad Polyxo.
• Polyctor, remembered for having made a basin of stone into which a spring ran, in Ithaca, together with Ithacus and Neritus. He had a son Pisander, who was one of the suitors of Penelope.
• In Homer's Iliad, Hermes takes the guise of a young mortal man when he is sent to keep Priam safe during his embassy to Achilles, and claims to be the son of a certain Polyctor.

• Antimachus, the son of Hippodamas, son of the river Achelous and Aeolid Perimede.
• Antimachus, one of the sons of Aegyptus. He married the Danaid Mideia who murdered him on their wedding night.
• Antimachus, a Centaur. He attended the wedding of Pirithous and was slain by Caeneus.
• Antimachus, the Thespian son of Heracles and Nicippe, daughter of King Thespius of Thespiae. Antimachus and his 49 half-brothers were born of Thespius's daughters who were impregnated by Heracles in one night, for a week or in the course of 50 days while hunting for the Cithaeronian lion. Later on, the hero sent a message to Thespius to keep seven of these sons and send three of them in Thebes while the remaining forty, joined by Iolaus, were dispatched to the island of Sardinia to found a colony.
• Antimachus, one of the Heraclides. He was the son of Thrasyanor and father of Deiphontes.
• Antimachus, a Cretan warrior who came with Idomeneus to fight on the Greeks side in the Trojan War. He was one of the warriors hidden in the Trojan Horse. He was killed by Aeneas.
• Antimachus, the Trojan father of Pisander, Hippolochus, Hippomachus, and Tisiphone. Bribed by Paris, he was against returning Helen to Menelaus.
• Antimachus, one of the Suitors of Penelope who came from Dulichium along with other 56 wooers. He, with the other suitors, was shot dead by Odysseus with the assistance of Eumaeus, Philoetius, and Telemachus.
• Antimachus, an Athenian youth and one of the sacrificial victims of the Minotaur.

Hippomachus or Hippomakhos or Hippomachos (Ancient Greek: Ἱππόμαχον or Ἱππόμαχος means "fighting on horseback, trooper") may refer to:

• Hippomachus, a Trojan warrior and son of Antimachus. He was the brother of Hippolochus, Pisander, and Tisiphone. During the Trojan War, Hippomachus was killed by Leonteus, leader of the Lapiths, who smote him with a cast of his spear, striking him upon the girdle.
• Hippomachus, one of the Suitors of Penelope. He came from Zacynthos along with other 43 wooers. Hippomachus was ultimately killed by Odysseus with the help of Eumaeus, Philoetius, and Telemachus, after returning from his 10-year journey.
• Hippomachus, the father of Perineike, mother of the Argonaut Iphitos and Antiphanteia by Naubolus.
• Hippomachus of Elis, an ancient Greek who won three opponents in an Olympic boxing competition for boys without receiving a blow.

In Greek mythology, Tisiphone (Ancient Greek: Τισιφόνη) was the Trojan daughter of Antimachus and sister of Hippolochus, Pisander, and Hippomachus. She was the wife of Meneptolemus.
