Oulad Teima (Arabic: أولاد تايمة), also known as Houara, is a city in Taroudant Province, Souss-Massa, Morocco. According to the 2014 Moroccan census it had a population of 89,387, up from 66,183 in the 2004 census.

The Sous River, Sus River or Souss River (Berber: Asif en Sus, Arabic: واد سوس) is a river in mid-southern Morocco located in the Sous region. It originates in the High Atlas and flows west passing Aoulouz, Taroudannt, Oulad Teima, Inezgane and Aït Melloul. It forms a basin which is protected from the desertic climate of the Sahara by the Anti-Atlas mountains and is one of Morocco's most fertile regions.
The Aoulouz Dam is the main dam on this river.

When referring to the language, anthropologists and historians prefer the name Shilha, which is in the Oxford English Dictionary (OED). Shilha is spoken in an area covering around 100,000 square kilometres. The area comprises the western part of the High Atlas mountains and the regions to the south up to the Draa River, including the Anti-Atlas and the alluvial basin of the Sous River. The largest urban centres in the area are the coastal city of Agadir (population over 400,000) and the towns of Guelmim, Taroudant, Oulad Teima, Tiznit and Ouarzazate.
