Nissewaard (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈnɪsəˌʋaːrt]) is a municipality in the Netherlands, located on the island of Voorne-Putten, in the south of the province of South Holland. It was created through a merger of the municipalities of Spijkenisse and Bernisse on 1 January 2015.
Nissewaard has a population of about 85,000 as of 2014.

Spijkenisse (Dutch pronunciation: [spɛikəˈnɪsə] ) is a large town in the province of South Holland, Netherlands. Following an administrative reform in 2015, it is part of the municipality of Nissewaard, and has a population of 72,500. It covers an area of 30.27 km (11.69 sq mi) of which 4.15 km (1.60 sq mi) is water. It is part of the Greater Rotterdam area.
Bernisse (Dutch pronunciation: [bɛrˈnɪsə] ) is a village and former municipality in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland. Since 2015 it has been a part of the municipality of Nissewaard.
