In Greek mythology, Strymon (/stryˈmɔːn/; Ancient Greek: Στρυμών) was a river-god and son of the Titans Oceanus and his sister-wife Tethys. He was a king of Thrace. By the Muses, Euterpe or Calliope or Terpsichore, he became the father of Rhesus. His other sons were Olynthus and Brangas.

Neaera bore Strymon's daughter, Evadne who became the wife of King Argus. He was also the father of Tereine who mothered Thrassa by the god Ares. Another daughter, Rhodope became the mother of Athos by Poseidon.

In Greek mythology, Hippothous (Ancient Greek: Ἱππόθοος, meaning "swift-riding") is the name of seven men:

• Hippothous, an Egyptian prince as one of the sons of King Aegyptus. He suffered the same fate as his other brothers, save Lynceus, when they were slain on their wedding night by their wives who obeyed the command of their father King Danaus of Libya. Hippothous was the son of Aegyptus by an Arabian woman and thus full brother of Istrus, Chalcodon, Agenor, Chaetus, Diocorystes, Alces, Alcmenor, Euchenor and Hippolytus. In some accounts, he could be a son of Aegyptus either by Eurryroe, daughter of the river-god Nilus, or Isaie, daughter of King Agenor of Tyre. Hippothous married the Danaid Gorge, daughter of Danaus either by the hamadryads Atlanteia or Phoebe.
• Hippothous, son of Poseidon and Alope, daughter of Cercyon. He was exposed and suckled by animals, while his mother was executed. After Theseus had killed Cercyon he willingly handed over his kingdom to Hippothous, since both men were the sons of Poseidon. Also known as Hippothoon.
• Hippothous, son of Cercyon. He was one of the hunters of the Calydonian Boar. He later inherited the kingdom of Arcadia when king Agapenor did not return from the Trojan War. His successor was his son, Aepytus.
• Hippothous, son of Neaera, daughter of Autolycus. He was killed by Telephus his kinsman (he was the son of Auge).
• Hippothous, son of Hippocoon. He was killed, along with father and brothers, by Heracles.
• Hippothous, one of the sons of Priam.
• Hippothous, son of Lethus, the son of Teutamides, a descendant of Pelasgus. He led the contingent of the Pelasgians during the Trojan War, along with his brother Pylaeus, and was killed by Ajax during the fight over the body of Patroclus.

Aegle (Ancient Greek: Αἴγλη "brightness" or "dazzling light") is the name of several different figures in Greek mythology:

• Aegle, one of the daughters of Asclepius. Her name is said to have derived from "Αἴγλη" ("Aegle"), meaning "Brightness," or "Splendor," either from the beauty of the human body when in good health, or from the honor paid to the medical profession.
• Aegle, the most beautiful of the Naiads, daughter of Zeus and Neaera, by whom Helios begot the Charites.
• Aegle, one of the Heliades, a sister of Phaeton, and daughter of Helios and Clymene. In her grief at the death of her brother she and her sisters were changed into poplars.
• Aegle, one of the Hesperides.
• Aegle, another name of Coronis, daughter of Phlegyas and lover of Apollo.
• Aegle, was a daughter of Panopeus, the Phocian hero. She was said to be one who was beloved by Theseus, and for whom he forsook Ariadne.

In Greek mythology, Pereus (Ancient Greek: Περέος) was an Arcadian prince as the son of King Elatus and Laodice, daughter of King Cinyras. He had four brothers namely, Stymphalus, Aepytus, Ischys and Cyllen. Pereus had a daughter, Neaera who married Autolycus, a son of Hermes.

In Greek mythology, Cleophyle (Ancient Greek: Κλεοφύλη, romanized: Kleophúlē) was an Arcadian queen as wife of King Lycurgus, son of Aleus and Neaera. She was the mother of his four sons: Ancaeus, Epochus, Amphidamas, and Iasius. Otherwise, the name of Lycurgus' wife was called Eurynome or Antinoe.
