Paimio (Finnish: [ˈpɑi̯mio]; Swedish: Pemar) is a town and municipality of Finland.

It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Southwest Finland region. The municipality has a population of 11,241 (30 June 2025) and covers an area of 242.26 square kilometres (93.54 sq mi) of which 3.89 km (1.50 sq mi) is water. The population density is 47.13 inhabitants per square kilometre (122.1/sq mi). The municipality is unilingually Finnish.

Suodenniemi is a former municipality of southwestern Finland.

Suodenniemi was first consolidated into Vammala in 2007. On 1 January 2009, Vammala itself was consolidated with Äetsä and Mouhijärvi to form the new named town of Sastamala.

Mikkeli (Finnish: [ˈmikːeli]; Swedish: S:t Michel; Latin: Michaelia; Russian: Миккели) is a city in, and the regional capital of, South Savo, Finland, located in the Finnish Lakeland. The population is approximately 52,000, while the Mikkeli sub-region of South Savo has a population of approximately 68,000. Mikkeli is the 18th most-populous municipality of Finland and the 19th most-populous urban area in the country.

Mikkeli is located on the shores of Lake Saimaa, the largest lake in the country, and Europe's fourth largest. Prior to being located within South Savo, the city was in Mikkeli Province (until 1997), before becoming part of Eastern Finland Province (1997-2009). The city covers an area of 3,229.57 square kilometres (1,246.94 sq mi), of which 424.7 km (164.0 sq mi) is water. Mikkeli is one of the largest towns in the South Savo region, and one of the main hubs in the region's hospital districts, along with Savonlinna.

Ikaalinen (Finnish: [ˈikɑːlinen]; Swedish: Ikalis) is a city and municipality of Finland. It is part of the Pirkanmaa region, located 55 kilometres (34 mi) northwest of Tampere. The town has a population of 6,713(30 June 2025) and covers an area of 843.40 square kilometres (325.64 sq mi) ofwhich 93.16 km (35.97 sq mi)is water. The population density is8.94 inhabitants per square kilometre (23.2/sq mi).

The municipalities next to it are Hämeenkyrö, Jämijärvi, Kankaanpää, Parkano, Sastamala and Ylöjärvi. The municipality is unilingually Finnish.

Vammala is a former town and municipality of southwestern Finland, chartered in 1907. On 1 January 2009, Vammala was consolidated with the municipalities of Mouhijärvi and Äetsä, to form a new city named Sastamala.

Ulvila (Finnish: [ˈulʋilɑ]; Swedish: Ulvsby) is a town and municipality of Finland. It is one of the six medieval cities of Finland, as well as the third oldest city in the country. Ulvila was granted charter as a town by King Albert of Sweden on 7 February 1365. However, its town privileges were taken over by Pori in 1558. After 442 years, Ulvila regained town privileges in 2000.

Ulvila is located in the region of Satakunta and the former province of Western Finland. The town is situated just 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) southeast of the city of Pori along Highway 2. The municipality has a population of 12,345 (30 June 2025) and covers an area of 422.51 square kilometres (163.13 sq mi), of which 21.82 km (8.42 sq mi) is water. The population density is 30.8 inhabitants per square kilometre (80/sq mi).

Kuusamo (Finnish: [ˈkuːsɑmo]; Northern Sami: Guossán; Inari Sami: Kuáccám; Russian: Куусамо) is a town and municipality in Finland. It is located in Koillismaa, the northeastern part of the Northern Ostrobothnia region. The municipality has a population of 14,784 (30 June 2025) and covers an area of 5,808.92 square kilometres (2,242.84 sq mi) of which 830.81 km (320.78 sq mi) is water. The population density is 2.97 inhabitants per square kilometre (7.7/sq mi).
