The Institute of Statistics (Albanian: Instituti i Statistikave – INSTAT) is an independent public legal entity tasked with producing official statistics in the Republic of Albania.
INSTAT is organized at the central level, with regional statistical offices at the local level that operate within its organizational structure, which is approved by a decision of the Assembly, in accordance with the provisions of the legislation in force for independent institutions.

Dibër (Albanian: [ˈdiˈbər]; Albanian definite form: Dibra) is a municipality in Dibër County, northeastern Albania. The municipality consists of the administrative units of Arras, Fushë-Çidhën, Kala e Dodës, Kastriot, Lurë, Luzni, Maqellarë, Melan, Muhurr, Selishtë, Sllovë, Tomin, Zall-Dardhë, Zall-Reç with Peshkopi constituting its seat. As of the Institute of Statistics estimate from the 2011 census, there were 61,619 inhabitants in Dibër Municipality. The area of the municipality is 937.88 km (362.12 sq mi).

Devoll (Albanian: [ˈdɛˈvɔɫ]; Albanian definite form: Devolli) is a municipality in Korçë County, southeastern Albania. The municipality consists of the administrative units of Hoçisht, Miras, Progër and Qendër Bilisht with Bilisht constituting its seat. As of the Institute of Statistics estimate from the 2011 census, there were 26.716 in Devoll Municipality. It derives its name from the Devoll River flowing through the valley. The border point Kapshticë/Krystallopigi connects Devoll with the Greek regional units of Florina and Kastoria to the east and southeast. Devoll borders the municipalities of Kolonjë to the southwest, Korçë to the west, Maliq to the northwest and Pustec to the north. The area of the municipality is 453.27 km (175.01 sq mi).
Tropojë (Albanian: [tɾɔˈpɔjə]; Albanian definite form: Tropoja) is a municipality in Kukës County, northeastern Albania, within the historical ethnographic region of the Gjakova Highlands. The municipality consists of the administrative units of Bajram Curri, Bujan, Bytyç, Fierzë, Lekbibaj, Llugaj, Margegaj and Tropojë, that became municipal units. The seat of the municipality is the town Bajram Curri. As of the Institute of Statistics 2023 census, there were 2,560 people residing in the municipal unit Tropojë and 14,189 in the municipality.
Has (Albanian: [ˈhaˈs]; Albanian definite form: Hasi) is a municipality in Kukës County, northeastern Albania. The municipality consists of the administrative units of Fajzë, Gjinaj, Golaj with Krumë constituting its seat. As of the Institute of Statistics estimate from the 2011 census, there were 4,117 people residing in Has Municipality. The area of the municipality is 399.62 km. It is encompassed within the Albanian ethnographic region of Has.
Fushë-Arrëz (Albanian: [ˈfuʃə ˈarəz]; Albanian definite form: Fushë-Arrëzi) is a municipality and town in Shkodër County, northwestern Albania. The municipality consists of the administrative units of Blerim, Fierzë, Iballë, Qafë-Mali with Fushë-Arrëz constituting its seat. As of the Institute of Statistics estimate from the 2011 census, there were 2,513 people residing in Fushë-Arrëz and 7,405 in Fushë-Arrëz Municipality. The area of the municipality is 540.42 km. The etymology of Fushë Arrëz from the Albanian language translates to in English as “Field of nutlets”.
Malësi e Madhe (Albanian pronunciation: [maˈləsi ɛ maˈðɛ]) is a municipality in Shkodër County, in northwestern Albania. The municipality consists of the administrative units of Gruemirë, Kastrat, Kelmend, Qendër, Shkrel with Koplik constituting its seat. As of the Institute of Statistics estimate from the 2011 census, there were 30,823 people residing in Malësi e Madhe Municipality. The area of the municipality is 951.01 km.
