The characters that are not controlled by a player are called non-player characters (NPCs). Street Fighter II: The World Warrior is a 1991 fighting game developed and published by Capcom for arcades. It is the second installment in the Street Fighter series and the sequel to 1987's Street Fighter. Mortal Kombat is a 1992 fighting game developed and published by Midway for arcades.
