Agios Andreas is linked with the Akti Dymaion and the GR-9/E55 (Patras - Pyrgos - Kyparissia) and Korinthou Street. The OSE's SPAP line is 300 m from the old shoreline and 500 m from the new shoreline by the expanded Port of Patras.

The Autostrada A14 or Autostrada Adriatica ("Adriatic motorway") is the second-longest (743.4 kilometres (461.9 mi)) autostrada (Italian for "motorway") in Italy located in the regions of Emilia-Romagna, Marche, Abruzzo, Molise and Apulia. It is a part of the E45, E55 and E843 European routes.

Its northern end is Bologna (where it branches off the Autostrada A1) and its southern ending is at Taranto. The motorway stretches along the entire Adriatic coast. Inaugurated in 1965, it connects to Rimini, Riccione, Cattolica, Pesaro, Ancona, Civitanova Marche, San Benedetto del Tronto, Pescara, Vasto, Termoli, Foggia and Bari.

Evinochori (Greek: Ευηνοχώρι) is a village and a community in the southern part of Aetolia-Acarnania, Greece. Evinochori is in the municipality of Missolonghi, located 10 km east of Missolonghi town centre. It is situated on the right bank of the river Evinos, about 10 km north of its outflow into the Ionian Sea. The community includes the village Nea Kalydona. Near Evinochori are the ruins of ancient Calydon, one of the most famous ancient cities in Aetolia.

The Greek National Road 5 (Antirrio - Agrinio - Ioannina) passes through the northern part of the village. The A5 motorway (E55), which opened in 2017, passes north of the village.

National Road 5 (Greek: Εθνική Οδός 5, abbreviated as EO5) is a single carriageway road in western Greece. It connects Antirrio, at the north end of the Rio-Antirrio bridge, with Ioannina in northwestern Greece, passing through Agrinio and Arta. The southern part, between Amfilochia and Antirrio, is part of the European route E55. The northern part, between Ioannina and Amfilochia, forms the European route E951. It passes on the east side of the Ambracian Gulf. In the future much of the traffic that used this road will be diverted to the new A5 motorway (Ionia Odos) motorway, which has already taken over parts of the road. Νear Arta there is a 200m. tunnel (Kleisoura tunnel) which opened in 1969

The A5 motorway, also known as the Ionia Odos (Greek: Ιόνια Οδός), is a controlled-access highway in western Greece, which starts at Ioannina and it follows the western coastline of mainland Greece down to the Gulf of Corinth. At Rio, it crosses the gulf via the Rio–Antirrio bridge and is connected with the A8 at an interchange near Patras. The Patras - Pyrgos section of the motorway is now considered part of the A8 motorway and will eventually extend to Tsakona near Kalamata. Another extension north to Kakavia at the border with Albania, is in the planning stage.

In August 2017, the last section under construction (Perdika-Ioannina) was completed and delivered to traffic by the Greek Minister of Infrastructure, Transport and Network, making Ionia Odos a fully operational motorway. It is the second major north–south road connection after the A1 motorway and is also part of the trans-balkanic Adriatic–Ionian motorway and the European routes E55 and E951.

Zacharo (Greek: Ζαχάρω) is a town and municipality in western Peloponnese, Greece. Administratively, it belongs to the regional unit of Elis in West Greece. Zacharo is situated on the coast of the Gulf of Kyparissia, a part of the Ionian Sea. The mountain Lapithas is to the north, and the Minthi is to the east. Northwest of the town, between mount Lapithas and the sea, is the Kaiafas Lake. Zacharo is 18 km south of Olympia, 28 km southeast of Pyrgos, 65 km northwest of Kalamata and 65 km west of Tripoli. The town is crossed by the Greek National Road 9/E55, that links Patras with Kalamata.
