Eskilstuna (Swedish pronunciation: [ËÉÌsËkÉȘlsËtÊËna] ) is a city and the seat of Eskilstuna Municipality, Södermanland County, Sweden. The city of Eskilstuna had 69,948 inhabitants in 2020, with a total population of 107,806 inhabitants in Eskilstuna municipality 2023. Eskilstuna has a large Sweden Finn population. The town is located on the River EskilstunaĂ„n, which connects Lake HjĂ€lmaren and Lake MĂ€laren.

Kvicksund (Swedish pronunciation: [kvÉȘkËsÉ”nËd]) is a bimunicipal locality situated in VĂ€sterĂ„s Municipality, VĂ€stmanland County and Eskilstuna Municipality, Södermanland County in Sweden with 1,768 inhabitants in 2010. It is located on the shores of Lake MĂ€laren. Kvicksund is mainly situated in two different areas, one on the southern shore and one on the northern. The northern part is confined to the island of Nyckelön while the southern part is on the mainland.
