Monza (UK: /ˈmɒnzə/, US: /ˈmɒnzə, ˈmoʊnzə, ˈmoʊntsɑː/, Italian: [ˈmontsa] ; Lombard: Monça, locally Monscia [ˈmũːʃa]; Latin: Modoetia) is a city and comune (municipality) on the River Lambro, a tributary of the River Po, in the Lombardy region of Italy, about 15 kilometres (9 miles) north-northeast of Milan. It is the capital of the province of Monza and Brianza. Monza is best known for its Grand Prix motor racing circuit, the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, which hosts the Formula One Italian Grand Prix.

On 11 June 2004, Monza was designated the capital of the new province of Monza and Brianza. The new administrative arrangement came fully into effect in summer 2009; previously, Monza was a comune within the province of Milan. Monza is the third-largest city of Lombardy and is the most important economic, industrial and administrative centre of the Brianza area, supporting a textile industry and a publishing trade. Monza also hosts a department of the University of Milano-Bicocca, a Court of Justice and several offices of regional administration. Monza Park is one of the largest urban parks in Europe.

The province of Monza and Brianza (Italian: provincia di Monza e della Brianza; Brianzoeu: provincia de Monscia e de la Brianza) is a province in the Lombardy region of Italy. It is named after its largest municipality, the comune of Monza and the geographical, historical and cultural area named Brianza.

Cantù (Italian pronunciation: [kanˈtu]; Brianzöö: Cantuu [kãˈtyː]) is a city and comune in the Province of Como, located at the center of the Brianza zone in Lombardy. It is the second largest city in Brianza.

Erba (previously Erba-Incino, as it was formed by the union of these two places, together with some smaller districts) is a comune (municipality) of some 16,000 inhabitants in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy. It is located 40 kilometres (25 mi) north of Milan and about 10 kilometres (6 mi) east of Como in the traditional region of Brianza at the foot of the Lombard Prealps and close to Monte Bollettone.
