Baronetage of the United Kingdom in the context of "Sassoon baronets"

The Coats Baronetcy, of Auchendrane in the parish of Maybole in the County of Ayr, is a title in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom. It was created on 7 December 1905 for James Coats, Director of J. and P. Coats Ltd, sewing cotton manufacturers. The second Baronet represented Wimbledon and East Surrey in the House of Commons as a Conservative.

The first Baronet was a first cousin of Sir Thomas Glen-Coats, 1st Baronet, and George Coats, 1st Baron Glentanar.

There have been two baronetcies created for members of the St Aubyn family, one in the Baronetage of England and one in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom.

The St Aubyn Baronetcy, of Clowance in the County of Cornwall, was created in the Baronetage of England on 11 December 1671 for John St Aubyn, who later represented St Michaels in the House of Commons. He was the son of Colonel John St Aubyn, who had acquired the island and castle St. Michael's Mount in 1659, having already become Governor of the Mount in 1647.

There have been two baronetcies created for members of the Codrington family, one in the Baronetage of Great Britain and one in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom. The family was for a long time connected with Dodington Park.

The Codrington baronetcy, of Dodington in the County of Gloucester, was created in the Baronetage of Great Britain on 21 April 1721 for William Codrington, the first cousin and heir of Christopher Codrington, owner of large plantations in the West Indies. He later represented Minehead in the House of Commons. The second Baronet sat as a Member of Parliament for Beverley and Tewkesbury. He disinherited his son, Sir William, the third Baronet, and bequeathed his estates to his nephew Christopher Bethell-Codrington (1764–1843), the eldest son of his brother Edward Codrington, fourth son of the first Baronet. Bethell-Codrington also became a Member of Parliament for Tewkesbury.

Baron Glenconner, of The Glen in the County of Peebles, is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. It was created in 1911 for Sir Edward Tennant, 2nd Baronet, who had earlier represented Salisbury in the House of Commons as a Liberal and also served as Lord Lieutenant of Peeblesshire. Lord Glenconner was succeeded by his second son, the second baron. The latter was succeeded in 1983 by his eldest son, the third baron, who bought the island of Mustique. As of 2014, the titles are held by the third baron's grandson, the fourth baron, who became the next-to-youngest peer in the realm when he succeeded in August 2010.

The Tennant baronetcy, of The Glen and St Rollox, was created in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom in 1885 for Charles Tennant, a businessman and Liberal Member of Parliament. He was the grandson of the chemist and industrialist Charles Tennant. Tennant was succeeded by his fourth son, the aforementioned second baronet, who was elevated to the peerage in 1911.
