Peleus escaped death and later pillaged Iolcus and killed Astydamea.
• Astydamea, daughter of Pelops and Hippodamia. She married Alcaeus and had Amphitryon and Anaxo by him. In other accounts, the wife of Alcaeus was named Hipponome, daughter of Menoeceus or Laonome, daughter of Guneus.
• Astydamea, daughter of Phorbas and mother of Lepreus by Caucon, son of Poseidon. She persuaded Heracles to reconcile with her son, who had previously advised Augeas to cast Heracles in bonds.
• Astydamea, mother of Ctesippus by Heracles. In one source, she was the daughter of Amyntor, possibly by Kleoboule or Hippodameia. Another account makes her the daughter of Ormenus, king of Ormenion. Heracles, the same source relates, wooed her, but Ormenius would not marry her to him since Heracles was already married to Deianira. Heracles then led a war against Ormenius, killed him and took Astydameia by force. Astydameia (or Astygeneia) is also an alternate name for Astyoche, daughter of Phylas, who bore Heracles a son Tlepolemus.

• Guneus, leader of the Aenianes and Perrhaebians during the Trojan War. According to Homer, "Guneus brought two and twenty ships from Cyphus, and he was followed by the Enienes and the valiant Peraebi, who dwelt about wintry Dodona." Guneus survived the war, and went to Libya where he settled near the Cinyps River. Guneus was an obscure character, though his tribal followers (Aenienians and Perrhaebians) are usually placed in northwestern Greece. Homer does not record his pedigree, but elsewhere his parents were called Ocytus and Aurophyte or Tauropoleia (or Hippodameia). In a rare account, his father was called Cyphos, the eponym of Cyphus, with no mention of a mother.

• Sthenelus or Sthenelās, king of Argos and son of Crotopus, son of Agenor, son of Triopas. He was the father of Gelanor.
• Sthenelus, an Egyptian prince as one of the 50 sons of King Aegyptus. His mother was a Tyria and thus full brother of Clitus and Chrysippus. In some accounts, he could be a son of Aegyptus either by Eurryroe, daughter of the river-god Nilus, or Isaie, daughter of King Agenor of Tyre. Clitus suffered the same fate as his other brothers, save Lynceus, when they were slain on their wedding night by their wives who obeyed the command of their father King Danaus of Libya. He married the Danaid Sthenele, daughter of Danaus and Memphis.
• Sthenelus, son of Actor and a companion of Heracles, whom he accompanied to the land of the Amazons to take Hippolyte's girdle. Ammianus Marcellinus wrote that Sthenelus was killed during the war with the Amazons.

During Heracles' journey to retrieve the belt of Hippolyte, while at the city of Paros two of his companions are murdered by sons of Minos, enraging the hero. He kills the sons of Minos responsible for the act, and only ceases the destruction when he is offered to take two hostages, with him choosing Sthenelus, along with his brother Alcaeus.

By Lysidice, daughter of Hippodamia and Pelops, Mestor became the father of Hippothoe, who mothered Taphius by the god Poseidon.
