Administrative divisions of the Kingdom of Hungary in the context of "Dunajská Streda District"

A county (Hungarian: vármegye ("castle-county" or "castellar-county") or megye; the earlier refers to the counties of the Kingdom of Hungary) is the name of a type of administrative unit in Hungary.

Komárno District (Slovak: okres Komárno, Hungarian: Komáromi járás) is a district inthe Nitra Region of western Slovakia. Until 1918, the district was mostly part of the Komárom county within the Kingdom of Hungary.

The district has a population of 108.556 of which 74.976 (69.1%) are Hungarians and 30.079 (27.7%) are Slovaks (2001).

Žiar nad Hronom District (Slovak: okres Žiar nad Hronom) is a district in the Banská Bystrica Region of central Slovakia. Until 1918, the district was part of the county of Tekov.
