Škofljica (pronounced [ˈʃkoːfljitsa]; German: Geweihtenbrunn) is a settlement in central Slovenia. It is the seat of the Municipality of Škofljica. It lies on the eastern edge of the marshlands south of the capital Ljubljana. The entire municipality is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region.

The Ljubljana Marsh (Slovene: Ljubljansko barje), located south of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, is the largest marsh in the country. It covers 163 square kilometres (63 sq mi) or 0.8% of the Slovene territory. It is administered by the municipalities of Borovnica, Brezovica, Ljubljana, Ig, Log-Dragomer, Škofljica and Vrhnika.
