The Trigrad Gorge (Bulgarian: Триградско ждрело, pronounced [triˈɡratsko ʒdrɛˈɫɔ]) is a canyon of vertical marble rocks in the Rhodope Mountains, part of the Dobrostan Formation (Proterozoic). It is in Smolyan Province, one of the southernmost provinces of Bulgaria.
The gorge encloses the course of the Trigradska River, which plunges into the Devil's Throat Cave and 530 metres (1,740 ft) further emerges as a large karst spring. It later flows into the River Buynovska.
The Rhodopes (/ˈrɒdəpiːz/; Bulgarian: Родопи, Rodopi; Greek: Ροδόπη, Rodopi; Turkish: Rodoplar) are a mountain range in Southeastern Europe, and the largest by area in Bulgaria, with over 83% of its area in the southern part of the country and the remainder in Greece. Golyam Perelik is its highest peak at 2,191 meters (7,188 ft). The mountain range gives its name to the terrestrial ecoregion Rodope montane mixed forests that belongs in the temperate broadleaf and mixed forests biome and the Palearctic realm. The region is particularly notable for its karst areas with their deep river gorges, large caves and specific sculptured forms, such as the Trigrad Gorge.
A significant part of Bulgaria's hydropower resources are located in the western areas of the range. There are a number of hydro-cascades and dams used for electricity production, irrigation, and as tourist destinations.
Jabalpur (IPA: [d͡ʒəbəlpʊɾ]), formerly Jubbulpore, is a city situated on the banks of Narmada River in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is the 3rd-largest urban agglomeration of the state and the 38th-largest of the country. Jabalpur is the administrative headquarters of the Jabalpur district and the Jabalpur division. It is the judicial capital of Madhya Pradesh with Madhya Pradesh High Court being located in the city.
It is generally accepted that the game of snooker originated in Jabalpur. Jabalpur is also the railway headquarters of the West Central Railway. Jabalpur Cantonment is one of the largest cantonments in India and houses the army headquarters of five states (Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Bihar and Jharkhand). The city is renowned for the Marble Rocks at Bhedaghat, an 8 km gorge sculpted entirely from pure marble by the ferocious Narmada River, as it descends from the Dhuandhar Falls boasting a rare status of being one of only three such gorges in the world, alongside Taroko Gorge in Taiwan and Trigrad Gorge in Bulgaria.

Devil's Throat Cave, or Dyavolsko Garlo (Bulgarian: Дяволското гърло [ˈdʲavoɫskoto ˈɡɤrɫo]), is located in the western Rhodopes close to the village of Gyovren in Bulgaria, near its border with Greece. A popular tourist attraction, Devil's Throat branches from Trigrad Gorge.
The Buynovska (Bulgarian: Буйновска река) is a river of Plovdiv Province, Bulgaria. It is one of the source rivers of the Vacha and is joined by the Trigrad Gorge.
