In Greek mythology, the name Polymela or Polymele (Ancient Greek: Πολυμήλη, lit. 'many songs’, derived from polys, ‘many’ and melos, ‘song') may refer to the following figures:

• Polymele, daughter of Autolycus and one of the possible mothers of Jason by Aeson, King of Iolcus. She was also called Polymede or Polypheme, otherwise the mother of the hero was either (1) Alcimede, daughter of Phylacus; (2) Amphinome; (3) Rhoeo, daughter of Staphylus; (4) Theognete, daughter of Laodicus; and lastly, (5) Scarphe or (6) Arne.
• Polymele, daughter of Peleus and one of the possible mothers of Patroclus by Menoetius, the other two being Sthenele and Periopis; some refer to her as "Philomela". In some accounts, Damocrateia, daughter of Aegina and Zeus, was also called the wife of Menoetius and mother of Patroclus.
• Polymele, wife of Thestor and mother of Calchas and possibly also of Leucippe and Theonoe.
• Polymele, daughter of Phylas and wife of Echecles. She was loved by Hermes, who spotted her while she was performing a ritual dance in honor of Artemis, and had by him a son, Eudoros.
• Polymele, daughter of Aeolus. When Odysseus visited their island, he fell in love with her and lay with her secretly. Soon after the guest's departure, Aeolus discovered his daughter crying over some spoils from Troy which Odysseus had given to her as presents. Outraged, he was about to exact vengeance upon Polymele, but his son Diores, who was in love with his own sister, intervened and implored Aeolus to marry her to him, to which Aeolus consented.

In Greek mythology, Thestor (Ancient Greek: Θέστωρ) is a name that may refer to:

• Thestor, son of Idmon and Laothoe, grandson of Apollo; some say that Idmon ("the knowing") was his own surname. By Polymela, he was the father of Calchas, Leucippe and Theonoe.
• Thestor, a Trojan, who was killed by Ajax.
• Thestor, another Trojan, brother of Satnius. They were sons of Enops and a Naiad nymph of the river Satnioeis. Thestor was slain by Patroclus, and Satnius by Ajax the Lesser.
• Thestor, father of Alcmaon. His son fought at Troy and was killed with a spear by the Lycian leader Sarpedon .

• Leucippe, one of the 3,000 Oceanids, water-nymph daughters of the Titans Oceanus and his sister-spouse Tethys. Leucippe, along with her sisters, was one of the companions of Persephone when the maiden was abducted by Hades, the god of the Underworld.
• Leucippe, one of the Minyades, daughter of King Minyas of Orchomenus. It was her son that the sisters tore apart in their madness.
• Leucippe, the wife of King Thestius of Pleuron and mother of Iphiclus and Althaea.
• Leucippe, a queen of Troy as the wife of Ilus, founder of Ilium. By him, she became the mother of Laomedon and possibly, Themiste, Telecleia and Tithonus. In some accounts, the wife of Ilus was called Eurydice, daughter of Adrastus or Batia, daughter of Teucer.
• Leucippe, another Trojan queen as the wife of King Laomedon. According to the mythographer Apollodorus, she and Laomedon had five sons, Tithonus, Lampus, Clytius, Hicetaon, and Priam, and three daughters, Hesione, Cilla and Astyoche. Otherwise the wife of Laomedon was identified as Strymo, daughter of Scamander or Placia, daughter of Otreus or Zeuxippe.
• Leucippe, a daughter of Thestor and possibly Polymele, and thus, sister of Theonoe, Calchas and Theoclymenus. She became a priestess of Apollo and went from country to country in search of her father, Thestor and sister Theonoe who was stolen by pirates.
• Leucippe, mother of Egyptian king, Aegyptus by Hephaestus.
• Leucippe, mother of Teuthras the Mysian king. Her son killed a sacred boar of Artemis during hunt and was driven mad by the angry goddess. Lysippe then went out in the woods, seeking to find out what had happened to her son. Eventually she learned about the goddess' wrath from the seer Polyidus; she then sacrificed to the goddess to propitiate her, and Teuthras' sanity was restored.
• Leucippe, the wife of Euenor and mother of Cleito in Plato' s legend of Atlantis.
