Montagnes District (French: District des Montagnes pronounced [mɔ̃.taɲ], "Mountains") is one of fourteen administrative districts of Ivory Coast. The district is located in the western part of the country, bordering Liberia and Guinea to the west, Woroba District to the north, Sassandra-Marahoué District to the east, and Bas-Sassandra District to the south. The capital of the district is Man.

Montagnes District in the context of Ivory Coast–Liberia border

The Ivory Coast–Liberia border is 778 km (483 mi) in length and runs from the tripoint with Guinea in the north down to the Atlantic Ocean in the south. It separates the Liberian counties of Grand Gedeh, River Gee, Maryland and Nimba from the Ivorian districts of Montagnes and Bas-Sassandra.
