Lurë-Dejë Mountain National Park (Albanian: Parku Kombëtar "Lurë-Mali i Dejës") is a national park in northeastern Albania, spanning an expanded area of 202.42 km (78.15 sq mi) since 2018 by encompassing the entire section of Kunora e Lurës, former Zall-Gjocaj National Park, and Dejë Mountain. The park was originally established in 1966 to protect the various ecosystems and biodiversity as Lura National Park. The altitude vary from 1,500–2,300 m (4,921–7,546 ft). The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) has listed the park as Category II. Nevertheless, it is described as an important Bird and Plant Area, because it supports significant bird and plant species.

Kunora e Lurës is a mountain in Albania. Kunora e Lurës reaches a height of 2,119 m (6,952 ft) above sea level and is the highest peak in the Lurë Mountains in Lurë National Park. Kunora e Lurës has a rocky face and is included in the Lura National Park, which was established in 1966. On average Kunora e Lurës has 1-1.5 m of snow on it, rarely going up to 2 m (7 ft).

Lurë National Park in the context of Lurë

Lurë is a former municipality in the Dibër County, northeastern Albania. At the 2015 local government reform it became a subdivision of the municipality Dibër. Its administrator is Leonard Rajta. The population at the 2011 census was 1,096. The region of Lurë is inhabited by the Albanian Lura tribe.

Old Lurë (Albanian: Lurë e vjetër), Lurë Plain (Albanian: Fushe Lurë) and Borie Lurë, are the three neighborhoods of Lurë. More villages are in the municipality of Lurë such as Krej Lurë, Pregj Lurë, Arrmall, Vlashe and Gur Lure. With an area of 1,280 hectares, the Lurë National Park is situated in the eastern side of the mountain massive of "Kunora e Lures". Its 14 icy lakes offer picturesque and attractive environments at an altitude of 1.350-1.720 m. Among the many lakes the one that stand out are the Big Lake (32 hectares), the Lake of Pines (13 hectares), the Black Lake (8 hectares) and the Lake of Flowers (4 hectares), and The Grand Lake (Albanian: Liqeni i Madh). In winter these lakes freeze.
