Kudanminami (九段南) is a district of Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan, consisting of 1-chōme to 4-chōme. As of March 1, 2007, its population is 2,431.

Kudanminami is located on the northwestern part of the Chiyoda ward. The Nihonbashi River and Yasukuni-dōri Ave form its eastern and northern boundaries, respectively. It borders Kanda-Jinbōchō to the east, Gobanchō to the west, Sanbanchō, Hitotsubashi and Yonbanchō to the south, and Kudankita to the north. In addition, it borders Kitanomaru Kōen between its 1-chōme and 2-chōme. The zone is a prestigious business and residential zone.

Kudanminami in the context of Banchō

Banchō (番町) is an area in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan, consisting of the six "-banchō" districts, Ichibanchō (一番町) to Rokubanchō (六番町), as well as parts of Kudanminami and Kudankita, and Fujimi.

The Banchō area is located to the west of the Imperial Palace. The historical area is roughly triangular in shape, Shinjuku Ave (新宿通り) forms its southern boundary. A rough line from Hanzō Moat (半蔵濠, Hanzō-bori) to Ushigome Mitsuke (牛込見附) forms its eastern boundary, and the railway of the Chūō Main Line along the outer moats of Ichigaya and Ushigome forms its northwestern boundary from Yotsuya to Ushigome Mitsuke.

Kudanminami in the context of Sanbanchō, Chiyoda, Tokyo

Part of the Banchō area, Sanbanchō (三番町) is an upscale, mostly residential district of Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. As of June 2020, the population of this district is 3,666 in 1,707 households. It borders the Tokyo Imperial Palace and the Chidorigafuchi moats to the east, Nibanchō and Yonbanchō to the west, Ichibanchō to the south, and Kudanminami to the north.

Like Yonbanchō, its official English spelling, Sanbanchō, does not follow the Hepburn romanization standard.
