Nagercoil, natively spelt as Nāgarkovil (Tamil: [n̪aːhɐɾkoːʋil], "Temple of the Nāgas", or Nagaraja-Temple), is a Municipal Corporation city and the administrative headquarters of Kanyakumari District in Tamil Nadu state, India.
