Angleur (French pronunciation: [ɑ̃ɡlœʁ]; Walloon: Angleûr) is a sub-municipality of the city of Liège located in the province of Liège, Wallonia, Belgium. It was a separate municipality until 1977. On 1 January 1977, it was merged into Liège.

It is located at the foot and on the slope of a hill in the southern part of Liège, located between the rivers Ourthe and Meuse. The lower part involves an area known as Renory and a railway station called Gare d'Angleur and the higher part is located around the roundabout of Sart Tilman where the Liège Science Park is located. Two mansions can be found in the lower part of Angleur : the Chateau Péralta and the Chateau Nagelmackers

Bressoux (French pronunciation: [bʁesu]; Walloon: Bressou) is a sub-municipality of the city of Liège located in the province of Liège, Wallonia, Belgium. The municipality of Bressoux was formed on 1 July 1871, when it was detached from the municipality of Grivegnée. On 1 January 1977, it was merged into Liège.

Grivegnée (French pronunciation: [ɡʁivɲe]; Walloon: Grimgnêye) is a sub-municipality of the city of Liège located in the province of Liège, Wallonia, Belgium. It was a separate municipality until 1977. On 1 July 1871, Bressoux was detached from Grivegnée. On 1 January 1977, Grivegnée was merged into Liège.

Jupille is the location of the brewery Piedbœuf (InBev group), where Jupiler is made. It is also the death place of Pepin of Herstal. It has also been proposed as the birthplace of Pepin the Short, King of the Franks (751-768) and perhaps even of his son Charlemagne, Emperor and king of the Franks, but there is no sure proof for these suppositions.

Formerly known as Rocoux or Roucoux, it was the site of the battle of Rocoux in 1746, during the War of the Austrian Succession.It is now known for its maternity hospital, one of the biggest in Belgium, where a few famous people were born, such as Justine Henin, Marie Gillain and David Goffin. Rocourt also hosted the stadium of RFC Liège from 1921 until 1995. The football club has played in new stadium in Rocourt since 2015.
