Bhaun (Urdu: بھون) is a town in Chakwal District in the Punjab province of Pakistan 12 kilometres away from the district capital Chakwal.

Bhaun used to be the terminus of the 74-km long former Mandra–Bhaun Branch Line of Pakistan Railways. The line began at Mandra Junction railway station.

Bhaun in the context of Pilu (poet)

Pilu (c. 1580–1675) was a Punjabi dramatic poet who is most well known for composing the Punjabi tragic romance Mirza Sahiban. Not much is known about identity of Pilu but according to most sources he was a resident of village Bhaun, Chakwal in modern-day Pakistan. Although others identify his birthplace as Amritsar, he was a contemporary of Mughal Emperor Akbar.
