The Seville metropolitan area is an urban area in Andalusia (Spain) centered on the city of Seville. With a population of over 1.5 million people, it is the fourth largest urban area in Spain, after Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia. It is also the largest urban area in Andalusia and Southern Spain.

Barcelona (Catalan: [bəɾsəˈlonə] ; Spanish: [baɾθeˈlona]) is a province in northeastern Spain, in the center of the autonomous community of Catalonia. The province is bordered by the provinces of Tarragona, Lleida, and Girona, and by the Mediterranean Sea. The area of the province is 7,726.37 km (2,983.17 sq mi), and the population is 5,877,672, of which 28.7% is in the city of Barcelona itself, which itself is contained in the Barcelona metropolitan area. It is both the 2nd most populous and 2nd most densely populated province in the country.

Hospital de Bellvitge, formerly known as Feixa Llarga, is a Barcelona Metro station, in the L'Hospitalet de Llobregat municipality of the Barcelona metropolitan area, and named after the nearby Bellvitge University Hospital. The station is the western terminus of line L1.

The station lies under the car park of the hospital, between the hospital itself and the Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes. It has a single entrance and underground ticket hall, which gives access to two 96-metre (315 ft) long side platforms on a lower level. Beyond the platforms at the country end of the station are several storage and reversing sidings.

The Àrea Metropolitana de Barcelona (AMB; English: Metropolitan Area of Barcelona) is a public body operating on the principle of metropolitan authority. It is composed of representatives of Barcelona and 36 adjacent municipalities accounting for a population of 3,239,337 (Idescat, 2014) within an area of 636 km. Its jurisdiction constitutes the main core of the unofficial Barcelona metropolitan area, with a population over 5 million.

Badalona (/ˌbædəˈloʊnə/, US also /ˌbɑːd-/, Catalan: [bəðəˈlonə], Spanish: [baðaˈlona]) is a city and municipality in the Province of Barcelona in the autonomous community of Catalonia in Spain. It is located to the north east of Barcelona, on the left bank of the Besòs River and on the Mediterranean Sea, in the Barcelona metropolitan area. With a population of 226,219, it is the 4th-largest city in Catalonia and the 22rd-largest in Spain. It became a city in 1897.

Sant Adrià de Besòs (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈsant əðɾiˈa ðə βəˈzɔs]) is a city and a municipality within the comarca of Barcelonès in Catalonia, north-eastern Spain. It is situated on the Mediterranean coast, at the mouth of river Besòs, extending to both sides of the estuary although the original settlement with the parish church lies on the left bank of the river, in the northern part of town. Sant Adrià is the smallest municipality of Barcelonès and has close ties with the neighbouring cities of Barcelona, Badalona and Santa Coloma de Gramenet, forming a uniform urban area within Barcelona metropolitan area.

The municipality straddles major transportation networks and is served by several modes of public transport. Sant Adrià is currently a town dominated by the service sector, but with a diverse manufacturing sector (especially in the areas of metal-work, chemistry, and construction) consisting mostly of medium-sized companies. Historically, it has experienced several massive migration flows attracted by the important industrialisation of the area during the last century and has been subject of various major urban redevelopments. In 2004, Sant Adrià de Besòs was part of the Universal Forum of Cultures.
